Bill of Rights Google Slides activity directions
- Study up on your amendment! You need to become an expert on it! You need to be able to:
- Rewrite the amendment into modern language
- Connect it back to the American Revolution and what inspired its creation
- Once you are comfortable with your understanding of your amendment, you and your partner will need to go online and research:
- A real world example or current event that relates to your amendment and the rights included in it.
- Find an image that relates to your amendment
- Finally, you will create a single slide on the collective Slideshow we are creating for class. Your slide must include:
- Your modern translation of the amendment
- A list of the exact rights provided by the amendment
- Explanation of how your amendment connects to the American Revolution and its inspiration
- A very short one sentence explanation of your real world connection and a link for more info online
- The image you found illustrating your amendment
