SOcial Contract for the Classroom

As a class we have used the questions below to guide us in creating a Social Contract in each class to develop a standard of behavior that all will be held to. It will be used to judge our positive and negative choices. It is a living contract and can be amended throughout the year. Everyone in class signed the contract to make it binding.
1. How do you want to be treated by me (Mrs. Cortez)? What do you expect from me as a teacher in class this year
2. How do you want to be treated by each other? What do you expect from each other in class this year? |
3. How do you think I (Mrs. Cortez) want to be treated by you? What should I expect from you as students in class this year?

History journal
Setting up Your History Journals
- Make sure your name is on the outside of the Journal.
- Cut out the Front Cover charts all together and Glue on the INSIDE OF THE FRONT COVER
- Cut out the Back Cover charts all together and Glue on the INSIDE OF THE BACK COVER.
- Get a strip of colored duct tape from Mrs. Cortez to match your class period and place it along the black binding of your journal.
- Write your name and class period on the first page as a cover page
